In the Bakken, the Double-Tree focus is on the development, construction and operation of wastewater treatment plants that provide for the quality treatment of sewage and the recovery of fresh water for reuse. On-site treatment of sewage at camps and other sites in the Bakken eliminates expensive hauling and pressure on community systems. NEWS September 2011 - The Utility Solutions, LLC.  831 water rights permit has been finalized. The new permit allows for municipal use for the entire expanded Utility Solutions service areas and provides volume necessary to meet the 1,500,000 gpd wastewater treatment plant facility plan capacity. The total volume of water available for municipal use under the Utility Solutions beneficial use permits is 1,787.12 acre-ft/yr. August 2011 - In the Bakken, Double-Tree, Inc. has started construction on a 180,000 gpd wastewater treatment plant for the Target Logistics Tioga Lodge. The advance treatment facility will recover fresh water for reuse in hydraulic fracturing. April 2011 - Montana Wastewater Systems, managed by Double-Tree, Inc., has recieved approval from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality for the construction of a 40,000 gpd mobile wastewater treatment plant. September 2010 - Utility Solutions, LLC., managed by Double-Tree, Inc., has completed an ultra-violet disinfection and disposal expansion project for the wastewater treatment plant at Elk Grove Subdivision. May 2009 - Utility Solutions, LLC., managed by Double-Tree, Inc., has completed a third water supply well and chlorination disinfection system expansion project for the Elk Grove water system.
